Nina Boles "Miss Nina" Hunt, age 91, of Dardanelle died Friday, November 4, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Russellville. She was born on December 11, 1913, in Dardanelle to Seth, Sr. and Sam Gordon "Gordie" Albright Boles. She was a mother, a homemaker, a Dardanelle Elementary School teacher for 34 years before retirement, a member of the Dardanelle Presbyterian Church, where she played the organ for 60 years, a life member of the Presbyterian Women Association, and cofounder of the Mt. Nebo nondenominational Sunday School. She was a graduate of Dardanelle High School, where she was inducted into the Dardanelle High School Hall of Honor. She received her BA in Education from Arkansas Tech University. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the Yell County Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the Dardanelle Garden and Music Clubs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Hunt, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Charles H. "Charley" Hunt, Jr. of North Little Rock, Thomas C. "Tommy" Hunt, Sr. of Dardanelle; daughters, Rebecca H. Bergen of Siloam Springs, Sarah H. Rogers of Russellville; a sister, Kitte Boles Baker of Russellville; 9 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Monday, November 07, 2005 at the Dardanelle Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kelly Pearson officiating. Internment was at Brearley Cemetery, Dardanelle.
