Seth Boles, Jr.

Seth Boles Jr., 78, of England [Lonoke County, Arkansas], a native of Dardanelle, died Thursday, Sept. 14, at Doctor's Hospital at Little Rock.

He was president and chairman of the board at The Bank of England and a former banker of Dardanelle. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of England, Duck Dowl Hunting Club, and a member of the England School Board for 14 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Hanna Canada of England; three brothers, Gordon Boles of Dardanelle, John Keith Boles of Monterey, Calif., and Neil Boles of Fort Smith; two sisters, Nina Hunt of Dardanelle and Kitty Baker of Russellville and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 16, at Wilson Chapel in England by the Rev. Roy Smith. Graveside service was held Saturday, Sept. 16, at Brearley Cemetery by Wilson Funeral Service of England.
