Haszard, formerly Premier and Attorney General of Prince Edward Island, and subsequently Assistant Judge of the Supreme Court and Master of the Rolls. He died on July 23rd, 1938.
Mrs. Haszard had been in failing health for the past year and gradually grew weaker until she peacefully passed away.
Her maiden name was Miss Elizabeth DesBrisay.

She was the last surviving member of her family.
She was an estimable Christian lady and a member of St. Paul's Church in this city.
In her day she had taken a prominent part in the work of various church organizations and during the last war she was especially active in connection with the Red Cross Auxiliary.
She possessed many admirable qualities of mind and heart and had made many warm friends in this city and other parts of the province.
She leaves to mourn her loss of a loving and devoted mother, one son, Lieut. J. F. Haszard, who is now overseas on active service and five daughters, the Misses Mary and Evelyn Haszard, Charlottetown, Mrs. J. L. Claxton, Shelburne, N. S., Mrs. Leigh-Spencer, Vancouver, B.
