MRS. VESTA HICKS, 1079 School St., Indiana, passed away Thursday, April 13, 1961, at 10:10 p. m, in Indiana Hospital.
Born September 15, 1890, in Tanoma, Indiana County, she was a daughter of the late William and Manna (Kelly) Craig.
The last surviving member of her family, she was a member of the Grove Chapel Lutheran Church, the Indiana Grange and Indiana County Historical Society.
Survivors Include her husband, Lawrence, and the following children: Mervin Hicks, Indiana; Mrs. lona Norton, Massachusetts; Mrs. Velma Saba, Philadelphia; William Hicks, Indiana; Lloyd Hicks, Pittsburgh; Laird Hicks, Clymer, and Mrs. Erma Romasco, Indiana. A son, Leon, is deceased.
She Is also survived by 20 grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Friends will he received at. The Bell Funeral Home, Indiana, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. today. Services will be conducted a t 2 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the funeral home with Rev. Leonard Pearson officiating.
Interment, will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
