U.S. Congresswoman. She graduated from Columbia University New York City, in 1917 and was a teacher at Wellesley College Massachusetts. During World War I, she was consulting psychologist of New York State Charities Aid Association. In 1951, she was elected as a Republican to the Eighty-second Congress and to the next five succeeding Congresses, serving until 1963. Not a not a candidate for re-nomination, she was a delegate Republican National Convention in 1964 and a member of the National Board of Directors, Girl Scouts of America. She was also the wife of Congressman Ralph Edwin Church.
