Stella M. Wrobleski, 86, of Cambridge Court in Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6:05 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Paul's Retirement Community, South Bend, IN. She was born on December 15, 1919 to the late Enoch and Agnes (Rybacki) Wrobleski in New Carlisle, IN, and was a lifelong area resident.
Miss Wrobleski was retired from the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend, where she worked as a secretary for 25 years. Stella was a graduate of New Carlisle High School.
She is survived by three sisters, Bernice Gondek of New Carlisle, IN; Dorothy Wolkiewicz of South Bend, IN; Henrietta "Rusty" Grauel of South Bend, IN; one brother, Clem (Irene) Wrobleski of New Carlisle, IN; one sister-in-law, Joan Wrobleski (who was married to Harry) of Midland, MI; numerous nieces; nephews; and great-nieces & great-nephews. Along with her parents; four brothers, Walter, Stephen, Edward, and Harry Wrobleski; and one sister-in-law, Helen Wrobleski (who was married to Stephen) all preceded her in death.
Miss Wrobleski was a member of St. Hedwig Parish, where she was a member of the Rosary & Altar Society, Golden Cluster; and a member of the Ladies Civic Club. She was a volunteer at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
Services were entrusted to Kaniewski Funeral Home of South Bend, Indiana.
