From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, Sunday, November 23, 1986: Stephen Wroblewski, 72, of 25322 Alfonsa Drove died Saturday in Carlyle Nursing Home. He had retired from St. Joseph Medical Center. He was born Aug 30, 1914, in New Carlisle. In 1939 he married Helen Marshall; she died in 1944. Surviving are a daughter, Sister Eileen SCS, Congregation of Holy Cross Sisters, of Plymouth; two sons, Eugene of South Bend and Ted of LaPorte; five grandchildren; four sisters, Dorothy Wolkiewicz, Henrietta Grauel of South Bend; Stella Wroblewski of Mishawaka and Bernice Gondek of New Carlisle; and four brothers, Walter, Ed, Clem and Harry, all of New Carlisle.
