New Carlisle – Clem R. Wrobleski, 88, passed away at 7:14pm Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Memorial Hospital.
Clem was born October 28, 1924 to the late Enoch and Agnes (Rybicki) Wrobleski. Clem is also preceded in death by his siblings, Walter, Edward, Steven, Harry, and Stella Wrobleski, Bernice Gondek; and Uncle Dave Wrobleski.
On June 28, 1947 in Cassopolis, MI. Clem married Irene (Majewski) Wrobleski, she survives, along with children, Sylvia (Steve) Purichia of Carmel, IN, Cynthia LeMay of Austin, TX, Roxanne (David) Isban of New Carlisle, IN, Michalene Kalmorgan of New Carlisle, IN, and Richard C. (Alice Dachel) Wrobleski of Hastings, MN; grandchildren, Cori (Oded) Doran of Albuquerque, NM, and Susan Purchia of Indianapolis, IN, great-grandchildren, Noa Jane and Ezra; sisters, Dorothy Wolkiewicz of South Bend, and Henrietta Grauel of South Bend; and many nieces and nephews.
Clem served his country in United States in the Army and Air Force; and he was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Terre Coupe Catholic Church. He employed at Oliver's Farm Machinery as a welder for 40 years. Clem raised Black Angus, loved farming, gardening, hunting and coon hunting dogs. Clem was a collector of new coins, beer cans and ball caps. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Visitation for Clem will be held at 2:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, January 10, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, January 11, 2013 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
