The deceased was living with his cousin, Mrs. A. T. Harrison and has been living in Costa Rica almost continuously since he came with his father Counsul John Curtis Caldwell in 1897. His very small estate has been taken over by Mrs. Harrison and all relatives in the United States have been notified by her of his death.
He died of bladder cancer and was buried at the Foreign Cemetery at San Jose on 6 November at 3pm, 1921. His next of kin are his sister Mrs. Henry S. Murchie, Calais, Maine and brother, Harry C. Caldwell Calias, Maine.
Mr. Caldwell was the American Vice Counsul at San Jose from 1899-1909 and son of Major General John Curtis Caldwell former American Counsul at this post.
