He loved to vacation with his family in Midway, Jackson Hole, and San Diego. Peter worked for the Utah Division of Child and Family Services and worked for thirty-two years as a social worker for the Salt Lake City School District. Peter also contributed to the establishment of the Head Start program which continues to help the children of Utah to this day. In addition to his profession, Peter served in many leadership positions in the LDS Church including as a counselor in three bishoprics and on the high council in the Salt Lake Ensign Stake.
Peter will be remembered for his tireless work for the welfare of the children of Utah. Most importantly he will be remembered for his incredible devotion to his family where he served as a great listener and wise counselor for the many who came to him for advice.
