Robert Dee "Mouse" Mowery, age 76, of Dublin, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Survived by wife of 55 years, Barbara; children, Robert D. (Joanne) Mowery Jr., Barbara Lee (Bob) Parker, Terry D. (Marie) Mowery, Kimberly K. (Ron) Hervi, Bryn (Jeff) Hartwell and Nanette (Andrew) Spears; beloved grandchildren, Sean, Erik, Graham, Audrey, Brett, Jessica, Suzanne, Tanya and Anthony; sisters, Dorothy Miller, Hazel Lewis, Marjorie Werkhaven and Roberta Albury; brother-in-law and beloved friend, Russell (Elsie) Carpenter. Mr. Mowery was a retired Columbus high school teacher, a graduate of O.S.U. and received his Masters degree from Xavier University. Bob was a head cheerleader at O.S.U. and member of S.A.E. Fraternity. He coached boys' wrestling and football, girls' softball and tennis and served as an athletic director. Former President of the Ohio High School Wrestling Association and was inducted into the O.H.S.A.A. Wrestling Hall of Fame. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street (1/2 mile South of I-270), where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2004. Inurnment at a later date at Kingwood Memorial Park.
