Marjorie D. Werkhaven, age 97, passed away, peacefully on December 21, 2018 at Sunrise of Dublin. President of Wm Werkhaven & Son where she worked in the family business for over 50 years. She was a member of Twigs of Children’s Hospital. Avid sports enthusiast, loved bridge, golf, football, and bowling. Past president Junior Bowling Assoc. Past president of the CWBA for nine years. Member of the Ohio Bowling Hall of Fame. Belonged to the 600 Club. Lifetime member of WIBC. Attended over 20 National Bowling Tournaments. Preceded in death by her husband, William R. Werkhaven; sisters, Alice, Dorothy, and Roberta; brother, Robert Mowery. Survived by children, Gloria (Jack) Schreiner, Carol “Lynn” (Bill) Davis, Bill (Mary) Werkhaven; grandchildren, Debbie (Doug) Donelson, Cathi (Jeff) Hill, Jason (Donna Rowan) Davis, Leigha (Colton) Patterson, Bill, Delanee (Willison), Skyler, and Jarrett Werkhaven; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Lewis; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018.
