Irma A. Flesner, 79, of Morton, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Morton Villa Care Center. She was born Feb. 28, 1931, in Peoria to Frank Owen and Wilma Ann (Garrison) Emory. She married Walter B. Flesner, Jr. on Feb. 10, 1951, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2010.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Irma had worked for Illinois Bell as a telephone operator in the 1940s. She was active in Vacation Bible School at Bethel Presbyterian and later at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria, where she was a member and had served with her husband as a greeter for many years.
Irma is at peace with the Lord and is together again with her husband, Junior.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
