IRA BRITT NICHOLSON
Ira Britt Nicholson, 81, St Mary's Rd., retired molder, died in City Hospital [Columbus, Georgia] at 6:30 p.m. yesterday after a month's illness.
Mr. Nicholson was born in Chattahoochee County, Ga., Sept. 17, 1873, son of the late N. N. and Elizabeth Dawson Nicholson. He had lived here 50 years, coming from Chattahoochee County. He was a member of the South Columbus Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Bagley Nicholson, Columbus; three sons, N. B., F. J. and C. D. Nicholson, all of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. J. H. Sanders, Columbus, and Mrs. M. H. Dawson, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Britton and Dobbs.

Funeral for Ira Britt Nicholson, 81, St. Mary's Rd, retired molder, who died in City Hospital at 6:30 p.m. Sunday after a months illness, was held at the grave in Mount Olive Church Cemetery in Cusseta, Ga. yesterday.
The Rev. J. Loy Scott, pastor, South Columbus Methodist Church, conducted the service.
