Fond du Lac Reporter, Fri. Sept. 29, 1995. Marie Beau Culver, 87, of Arvada CO, found eternal peace Mon. Aug. 28, 1995, in Colorado. She was born June 8, 1908 in Calvary to Henry Simon Beau and Margarethe Brost Beau. Mrs. Culver attended St. Mary's Springs Academy, the former Oshkosh Normal School, and she attended Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee. She taught piano, violin and trombone. She and her husband "Rollie" were original members of the Wally Beau Blue Derby Band. They moved in 1940 to Venice CA where Rollie joined the Red Nichols' Band. She was the dear mother of Dyanne (Ray) Morrow of Arvada CO and Kathleen Burns of Desert Hot Springs CA; grandchildren, Cecely (Jeff) Wareham Barneson of Cambridge MA, and Julie Marie Warhead of San Jose CA, and Douglas C. Morlong of Desert Hot Spring CA; loving sister of Marjorie Beau Luby of Greendale, and Lucile (Gerald) Murphy of Neenah and brother, Jerome (Grace) Beau of Boise ID; and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Wally, Harvey, Heinie, Willard and Edward Beau. Funeral services were held Sept. 2 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Venice CA with burial at the Culver pilot at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City CA. Morgan Mortuary, 6370 Union St., Arvada CO handled the arrangements.
