Lucile Estele Murphy (nee Beau), 95, passed away on December 14, 2016. The youngest child of Henry and Margarete (Brost) Beau, Lucile was born in Calvary, Wisconsin, on April 6, 1921. She graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, worked for the U.S. Office of Price Administration in Washington, D.C., during WW II, and married Gerald (Jerry) Murphy in 1947. Lucile loved music, especially Dixieland jazz, and was a passionate reader of fiction, history, and politics who especially relished spy novels. Her dear friend Eunie shared many of her interests, and their friendship was a source of true joy to Lucile. Jerry died in 2012, but Lucile is survived by her children – Dennis, Kevin, Michelle, Joel, and Tim – and eight grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private services will be held.
