Mr. Thomas Joseph Thevenow, Jr., age 87, of Ellettsville, Indiana and formerly of Madison, entered this life on May 21, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Thomas Joseph, Sr. and Helen Lee Hargitt Thevenow. He was raised in Madison and was a 1952 graduate of Madison High School. He then attended Indiana University and received his bachelors degree. He was blessed to raise five children. He had worked in the grocery business and as a fireman. He enjoyed collecting guns and coins. Thomas died on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 8:55 p.m. at his home in Ellettsville, Indiana.

Thomas will be missed by his daughters, Viki Thevenow of Bloomington, Indiana, Niki Kring and her husband, Robbie of Lebanon, Ohio, Michelle Mouser and her husband, Gary of Madison, Indiana, Becky May and her husband, John of Nashville, Indiana; his son, Chris Robbins and his wife, Mary of Worthington, Indiana; 11-grandchildren; 11-great grandchildren; 1-great great grandchild; his brother, Victor Thevenow of Madison, Indiana; his sister, Sarah Whicker of Bedford, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Joseph Thevenow, Sr., died July 29, 1957, and his mother, Helen Lee Hargitt Thevenow, died November 24, 1982, his daughter, Theresa Ann Thevenow, died October 3, 1963; his sister, Mary Jane Hayden.
