Mrs. Gautreaux, 79, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in Humana Hospital.
She was a native of Plaucheville and a housewife.
Survivors include four sons, Murphy Gautreaux and L.F. Gautreaux both of Lettsworth, Hillman Gautreaux of Simmesport and Freddie Lee Gautreaux of Houma; five daughters, Mildred Sandefer and Velma Gross of Pampa, Texas, Esther Carmouche of Marksville, Ethel Rae Soileau of Lettsworth and Sandra Guilbeau of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Ogden Chenevert of New Roads, Webster Chenevert of Lettsworth and Roosevelt Chenevert of Plaucheville; two sisters, Odessa Humphrey of Pasadena, Texas and Bessie Mayeux of Simmesport; 37 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
