Funeral services for Louis F. (L.F.) Gautreaux will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Simmesport United Pentecostal Church beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00pm to 11:00pm and will re-open at 8:00am until leaving the funeral home for services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gautreaux, age 79, resident of Simmesport, died January 7, 2015 at his residence in Simmesport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Amar Gautreaux; sisters, Mildrea Sannafour, Ester Carmouche, and Ray Soileau; brothers, Milburn Gautreaux, Sr., Murphy Gautreaux and Hilman Gautreaux and two nieces and three nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Bonnette Gautreaux of Simmesport; daughters, Chrystal Mixon and Paige Juneau both of Simmesport; a son, Shaun Gautreaux of Pitkin; brother, Freddie Gautreaux of Houma; sisters, Velma Jeannie Gross of Simmesport and Sandra Guilbeau of Baton Rouge and 5 grandchildren, Courtney Gunnells, Cory Mixon, Ainsleigh Gautreaux, Brynleigh Gautreaux, and Justus Gautreaux; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
