Services will be Tuesday for Kina I. Shaw, 709, a resident of Santa Cruz for 26 years, who died Wednesday following a long period of declining health.
A native of Calgary Alberta, she moved to Hawaii in 1924. After 10 years there, she moved to Southern California and then to Santa Cruz in 1955.
She is survived by two sisters, Georgie Lewis of Santa Cruz and Adele Brewster of Calgary, Alberta.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Irvin M. Smith and sons Chapel of the Four Seasons, 1050 Cayuga St. The Rev. Walter Boring will officiate. Entombment will be in the IOOF Mausoleum.
