Son of Hannah (Brown) and William S. Tuttle. Andrew's birth and death dates were provided by his brother Edwin in his bio sketch in Historical and Biographical Albums of the Chippewa Valley Wisconsin, pgs 742-43, publ 1891.

Andrew relocated with his family in the late 1840 to Auburn, Fond du Loc, and remained there until joining the military in 1861. He served in Co E, of the 6th Wisconsin Infantry.

He appears to have married in about 1860 and had at least one son by that wife, Charles Frank Tuttle, born 8 Jun 1861.

After the war, Andrew married Charlotte "Lucy" Braughton on 25 Mar 1866, in Lamartine, Fond du Lac. They had two known children together Arthur C. (1876-) and Arion (1879)

Andrew died in West DePere, Brown, Wisconsin and is most likely buried in the Lawrence Cemetery, but without proof, I have not yet placed his burial there. Any help on this family is appreciated.
