Richard S. Bennett
Richard Summers Bennett, 65, 1230 11th Avenue, a Salt Lake business executive and president of Bennett's paint and glass firm for many years, died at his home Thursday night.
Born March 10, 1911, in Salt Lake City, to John F. and Rose Wallace Bennett. He was a member of the Salt Lake Rotary Club, member of the Salt Lake Country Club and member of the Alta Club.
Survivors: wife, Virginia Allison Bennett; two daughters Mrs. P.M.A. (Allison) van der Heyde and . . .; four grandchildren; two brothers, former U.S. Sen. Wallace F. Bennett and Harold H. Bennett, and a sister, Elizabeth B. Winter, all of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Monday, noon, Federal Heights Ward, 1300 Fairfax Road. Burial in Salt Lake City Cemetery.
