MRS. W. NIXT DIES AT 80; RITES AT GREENE

Greene - Mrs. William (Margaret Theresa) Nixt, 80, died Monday at the Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles City, following a long illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. The Rev. P.J. Boyle will officiate. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Dougherty with Reid-Hamilton Funeral Home in charge.

Born at Dougherty, March 10, 1881, she was the daughter of Charles and Ellen Dougherty. She was married Nov. 25, 1903, at Mason City.

Surviving are her husband, four children, Mrs. Claire (Mildred) Curtis, Greene; Everett, Greene; Bernard, Inglewood, Calif.; Mark, Lakewood, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Alice McDonough, Mrs. Agnes Ealy and Mrs. Ralph Hogan, Mason City; Mrs. Vern Riggens and Mrs. William Boyle, Dougherty; and a brother, Everett Dougherty, Mason City.
