Obituary: Frank W. Cooling, long-time resident of Iowa Falls and many years an employe of the freight department of the Rock Island road this city, died at his home here yesterday after a brief illness. Last year Cooling sustained a severe injury to his back while handling some heavy freight, and never fully recovered his injuries, and these together with complications resulted in his death. He was well known here and esteemed. He is survived by wife, three sons, and two daughters, all residing here, except the eldest son, Lester Cooling, who lives at Waterloo is in the train service of the Illinois Central. The funeral will be held at the home Friday afternoon and interment will be made in Union cemetery. He was fifty-five years old.
