Marble Hill, March 14-Funeral Services were held Sunday at the Hog Creek Methodist Church for Mrs. Fannie E Allen, wife of J.H. Allen, near Marble Hill. Mrs. Allen, 75 years old, died Saturday at her home of a complication of ailments. She had been ill several months. The body was taken to the Baker Funeral Home and back to the family home Saturday afternoon. Mrs Allen, born in Marble Hill, was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Daniel (David is his correct name-my note family member)Barks. She is survived by her husband and several children.
