Brown - Died, at Jacksonville, Wednesday, Nov. 27, of Bright's disease of the kidneys, Charles. Brown, aged 54 years.
The deceased was born at Island Grove and lived there until about ten years ago and then moved to this city where he has since resided.
He graduated at Illinois college in the class of 1860 and was well known in this and adjoining counties. Mr. Brown was a member of the First Methodist church of this city and was recognized as one of the pillars of the church. He married Elizabeth Bunnell and their married life was an especially happy one. He leaves besides his wife, two brothers, William and Benjamin of Island Grove.
The funeral will take place at the M. E. church at Island Grove, Friday at 11 a.m.
