Miss Doub some time ago gave the famous Doub's Woods to Washington County for use as a park with the understanding that many of the trees would not be cut down. Students at the school will have the use of the park which was given by Miss Doub as a memorial to her parents.

She was born and reared and lived her entire life in the vicinity Hagestown. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
