WILIAM ORLANDO DOUB, retired farmer of Hopewell, died at the Washington County Hospital Wednesday, aged 87. He was born near Beaver Creek, the son of Daniel Rinehart and Catherine Funk Doub, and spent his entire life in this community.

He was a member of the Men's Bible Class of St. John's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edison Y. Groh, Hopewell; two grandchildren, Mrs. Charles L. Pitzer (Phyllis) and Mrs. John E. Unger, Jr., Hagerstown; great-grandchildren, William G. Pitzer and John David Unger; sister, Emma K. Doub.

Funeral services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
