Dee was born in Odessa on April 3, 1952. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1970 and went on to live many happy years in Westwood, California where she worked as a Property Manager.
Later, she returned home to Texas to care for her father, Cecil Jack "Papa" Hollingsworth.
In 2006, she moved to Bedford, TX where she worked as Hotel Manager for La Quinta Inns.
Dee loved bringing a smile to those around her.
On October 6, 2012 Dee passed away after a lengthy illness.
Dee is survived by her son, Jamison Ryan of Round Rock, TX; two sisters, Aretha Hughes Ferrell of Frisco, TX and Tammy Hughes Detwiler of Conroe, TX.
We thank you Dear Lord for blessing us with Dee and all the love she gave us. She will be missed.
