Ralph Dean Atkins, 55, husband of Dorothy Lucille Price Atkins was dead on arrival early Wednesday morning, at Spartanburg General Hospital. Native of Spartanbuarg County, SC and son of Cleve and Ruby Ruth Davis Atkins and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors included, two sons; Wayne Ray and Ricky David Atkins, three daughters; Mrs. Peggy Jean Jones, Miss Helen Ruth Atkins and Mrs. Judy Ann Crocker, brothers; Willie and Eugene, Clyde and Hollis Atkins, two sister; Mrs. Pauline Mills and Mrs. Lula Mills, and nine grandchildren. Services 3 Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church by the Rev. Dean Owens with interment in the church cemetery. Body at home 11 today. Wood Mortuary, Greer, SC.
