Judy was born on February 9, 1948, in Spartanburg, SC to the late Ralph Atkins and Dorothy Price Atkins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Judy was a quiet, humble, and very sweet lady. She was very artistic and loved to color. Judy enjoyed raising her children, being outdoors, and going fishing. She loved her family very much.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Atkins.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Marvin H. Crocker, Jr. of Landrum, SC; two daughters, Sheila Crocker of Columbus, NC and Teresa Crocker of Hendersonville; two sisters, Peggy Jones and Helen Atkins, both of Hendersonville; two brothers, Ricky and Wayne (Pam) Atkins, both of Hendersonville; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 1:00 PM at New Salem Baptist Church, 200 Rosscraggon Rd., Arden, NC 28704 officiated by Pastor Greg Pippin.
