Ray Cox, 90, of Route 6, Campbellsville, died Monday, June 9, 1980, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wilbur Whitley officiating. Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Cox, Larry Wilson, Jerry Cox, Leo Henning, Charles Wilson, and Maurice Bread. Survivors include five sons: Coy Cox, Ed Cox, Ray Cox, Andy Cox and Will H. Cox, all of Campbellsville; and three daughters: Mrs. Ida Bell Wilson, Mrs. Gusta Brown, and Mrs. Vernith Hall, all of Campbellsville; 28 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
