Mrs. Robert L. Cherveny
Mrs. Robert L. Cherveny, 25, of 2835 Elm, died. at. 4: 30 p.m. Monday in St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Cherveny was the former Janet Loraine Turner, a native and lifelong resident of Grand Junction.
Her paternal grandparents brought the first cattle into eastern Utah, and her maternal grandparents, named Bagley, came to Utah with the original Mormon pioneers.
She was active in Gamma Psi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, the Mesa College pre-school program, and was a volunteer worker at the State Home.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Mrs. Cherveny was born here on Dec.14,1945, and attended local schools. The Chervenys were married her on Oct. 5,1962.
Surviving are her husband, who is Vice president of Colorado Furniture Co.; a daughter, Leslie Michelle, 8, and two sons, Brian Charles, 5, and Robert Douglas, six months; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Turner; and four sisters, including Margaret, Nancy and Barbara Turner, all of Grand Junction.
