Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend, Marjorie Bagley Turner, (Mimi) died peacefully on April 6th, 2008, surrounded by loving family from complications of Pneumonia. She was born June 24, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Marjorie was the only living daughter of six children born to Laurence Elaine and Lewis Loraine Bagley. She graduated from East High School and went on to study at the University of Utah. While at the "U" she met her "Football Hero" Charles Robert Turner. They were married on October 8, 1941. Their marriage was later sealed in the LDS Manti Temple. Marjorie and Chuck made their home in Grand Junction, Colorado where they were blessed with five daughters. Together, in Grand Junction they were dedicated to a prominent and successful furniture business. Retirement brought them to Utah to be near family whom they loved dearly. During her retirement years Marjorie devoted herself to loving and caring for her immediate and extended family and friends. There were few people who met Marjorie who didn't soon consider her a "best friend, or grandma." She was proud of her heritage, and an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Marjorie was active in the LDS church, where she served in many capacities, her favorites were working with the Young Women, and the time she spent working as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple. Marjorie is survived by three daughters, Laurie Peach (Lloyd), St. George; Nancy Gremler, West Jordan; Barbara Hicks (Randy), Huntsville; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren;

She is also survived by her brother, Don Bagley, Los Angeles, California. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her two daughters, Janet Cherveny and Margaret Cranney; one grandson, Joseph Cherveny; and one great great granddaughter, Kaylee Ferguson.
