CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Robert Christian Adler, Clinton, will be 2 p.m. today at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home. Visitation is one hour before the service. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Adler died Sunday, June 16, 2002, after an automobile accident. He was employed as a stockroom manager/clerk at Waukesha Engine Co. for 30 years retiring in 1987. He also had been employed at DuPont Co. He was born on July 25, 1925. He married Diane Kahler in 1988 in Clinton. She also died Sunday, June 16, 2002. He served in the Navy during World War II. Survivors include sisters, Marjorie Strunk, Fulton, Ill., Theo Smith, Clinton, and Audrey Dolan, Clinton.
