Mrs. Ellen Johnson, 64, lifelong resident of the Martins Mill community, was buried at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Holly Springs cemetery. Her death occurred Tuesday morning at 9:00 o'clock.
The deceased was an aunt of Troy, Roy, Carey, Whit, Z.W. and Ocie Daniel of Athens. Mrs. Olene Jones, also of Athens, was a niece.
Mrs. Johnson's husband, Sam Johnson and five daughters survive. The daughters are: Mrs. Etna Friday and Mrs. Thelma McLemore, both of Dallas; Mrs. Zelma McLemore of near Canton; Mrs. J.C. Jordan, Canton and Mrs. A. Henley, Martins Mill. One sister, Mrs. Wincie Walker of Canton and two brothers, Walter Sides of Canton and Bob sides of Wills Point also survive.
