Libby the library cat came to live in the Haysville Community library when she was tossed from a car as a kitten. The library staff took her in to care for her and she repaid them by becoming an efficient mouser and a dedicated "greeter" of library patrons.
She survived many injuries and ailments, including being run over by a car in 1990 and being "catnapped" in 1992.
