Royalty. She was born in Regensburg as the first daughter of Emperor Ferdinand III and his third wife Eleonora Gonzaga. She was married to Michael I Korybut of Poland in May 1670 in Warsaw. After his death in 1673 she returned to Vienna where she later married duke Charles V of Lorraine who lived in exile there. Charles was named stadtholder of Tyrol and the couple moved to Innsbruck, where she gave birth to five of her six children. After the death of her husband she acted as regent for her son Leopold, by whom she was grandmother of Franz I Stephan.
