Mr. Voyde Caraway (1919-2012) passed away March 1, 2012. He departed this life peacefully and joins his parents: Henry Clay Caraway and Easter Davis Caraway and his eight siblings who all proceeded him in death. He was born in the Bobo Community of Teneha, Texas.
He was a graduate of Prairie View A&M University. He taught for many years in Aldine School District. Vodye was honored several years ago with having an intermediate school named after him. He enjoyed outdoor sports.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The service will follow. The funeral will be at Mount Ararat Baptist Church 5801 W. Montgomery. Rev. Ameal Jones, Officiating. Interment will be at Paradise North.
