Hallie Long, 85, of Raytown died on January 6, 1992 at Research Medical Center. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Long was a retired letter carrier for U. S. Postal Service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include two sons, Leroy Lunsford and Gary Lunsford, both of Raytown; two daughters, Judy Stanton of Raytown and Gwendolyn Joyce Hedstrom of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Estel Long of Kansas City; fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sheil Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Brooking Cemetery.
