Rock Singer. Trenier was the lead singer of the early Rock 'n' Roll musical group, 'The Treniers.' The group was formed in 1947 after signing to the Mercury Record Label and included members, Dan Hill, Eugene Gilbeauz, Milt Trenier, and Cliff Trenier. There many recordings include, 'Go! Go! Go!,' 'Good Rockin' Tonight,' 'The Moondog,' 'Hey, Little Girl,' 'Devil's Mambo,' 'Old Woman Blues,' 'Rockin' Is Our Business,' 'Hi-Yo Silver,' 'Taxi Blues,' 'Cheatin' On Me,' and 'I'd Do Nothin' But Genre,' 'Say Hey (The Willie Mays Song),' 'Get Out Of The Car,' and 'Bald Head.'They appeared on several television shows, many movies, played several casino and lounge shows, in a career that spanned over 55 years. Claude Trenier died in November 2003, at the age of 84 from cancer.
