DURALDE - Funeral services for Marscline Ardoin, 81, will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, from Annunciation Catholic
Church.The Rev. Joseph Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in Ceasar Cemetery under the direction of Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Eunice. Visitation will be 5-10 p.m. Sunday in the church.
Mrs. Ardoin died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, in the Mamou
hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Alphonse "Boi Sec" Ardoin of
Duralde; eight daughters, Mildred Rucker of Austin, Texas,
Florence Thomas and Alberta Hall, both of Baton Rouge,
Dorothy Fruge of Eunice, Onelia Cochran and Mathilda Hall,
both of Edmond, Okla., and Emily Whittaker and Juanita
Ardoin, both of Oklahoma City; four sons, Morris Ardoin of
Duralde, Lawrence Ardoin and Ronald Ardoin, both of Lake
Charles, and Russel Ardoin of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother,
Joseph Victorian of Basile; two sisters, Mary Lou Ceaser of
Elton and Selida Ryan of Lake Charles; 37 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren.
