Among her many credits are "The Code of Marcia Gray" (1916), "Intolerance" (1916), "Bleak House" (1920), "Little Lord Fauntleroy" (1936), "Zaza" (1939), "Kitty" (1945), "An Ideal Husband" (1947) and "Whirlpool" (1949). She devoted over sixty years of her life to the theater and film arts, is a recipient of the Shakespeare Festival Theatre Award and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She died in New York City.
