Licorice was adopted in July 1996 when she was about 4 months old. We got her from our neighbor. Licorice was my little snuggle-bunny. She loved to lay in my lap, cuddle in the crook of my arm or lay across my shoulders while I worked on the computer. When I walked my dog, she loved riding around on my shoulders. She was such a Sweetheart and I loved her very much. She became ill with Feline Aids but was doing wonderful with treatment. However, one day she was outside and was run over by a car. I was outside and witnessed the whole thing. It truly tramatized me. I will never forget that incident. Nor will I ever forgive myself for letting her outside that day. :o(
