Author. Sakutaro Fujioka was a prolific writer who also used "Toho" as a pen name. He graduated from Tokyo University in 1894. He was professor at the Third Higher School in Kyoto in 1897, and later he was assistant professor at Tokyo University in 1900. He wrote books on classical Japanese literature and fine arts. He was known as a writer of beautiful prose.
