They had eight children: my great-grandmother, Grace Theresa (born 1869); Marjorie (1871); Manus (1873); Mary or May (1875); Joseph (1876); Elizabeth (1880), Margaret (1884) and Anne (Anna) (1885).
According to the 1885 Philadelphia City Directory, my great-great-grandmother ran a variety store at 738 North 36th Street, the family apparently living above the store.
