Cecilia Marshall Burr Stewart was the second wife of my mother's paternal grandfather, William Stewart. They were married on November 17, 1901 in the Baptist Church of Deptford Township.

The LDS International Genealogical Index states that she was the daughter of Henry R. Marshall and Olive Young,

According to the 1880 Census, her first marriage was to Horace Burr, a tinsmith 13 years her senior. That marriage produced three children, Elizabeth (b. 1868), Samuel (b.1874) and Lida (b. 1878).

According to the records of Wagner Funeral Home in Woodbury, NJ, Cecilia died at the age of 84. The funeral was held at her home at 915 Broadway in Westville, and she was buried in New Camden Cemetery in Camden, New Jersey, on March 22, 1929. There is a memorandum on the funeral record that "Mrs. Elizabeth Springer paid part [of the bill for the funeral]."

Elizabeth Springer was Cecilia's granddaughter through her first marriage to Horace Burr. According to the Social Security Death Index, Elizabeth Springer was born July 8, 1893 and died in January 1974.
