COOKEVILLE-Funeral services for Maggie Bell Cummings, 85, of Rt 4 Cookeville, will be held Wed. May 2 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with the Bro. Lorne Crossman officiating. Burial will be in the Symrna Cemetery.
Mrs. Cummins died Mon. April 30, 1984, at Cookeville General Hospital.
A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the Walsh and Lucy Whittaker Bybee. She was the widow of the late Carl Thurman Cummings. She was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Her family includes two sons, Carl Cummings of Michigan and Bill Cummings of Cookeville; one daughter Sue Kelly of California; one brother Walter Bybee of Gainesboro; one sister Elizabeth Swann of Gallatin, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
