Virginia was born on August 20, 1920 at home in San Sebastian, Jalisco, Mexico. She was the daughter of Maria Dolore and Jose Cardenas. Virginia grew up in Coliona Mexico.
Virginia was raised with 2 siblings; Eliodora and Maria Del Carmen. Virginia was usually involved in all sorts of activities with her siblings. She and her siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
As a young girl, Virginia enjoyed playing and making up games. In her spare time she liked to sing. Virginia's memorable achievements included working along side her mother at her restaurant. However, to Virginia, the most fun to be had was simply playing and spending time with her friends.
On July 15, 1947 Virginia exchanged wedding vows with Luis Arellano Andrade at Sacred Heart Church of Colima, Mexico. Empathic and loyal, Virginia was committed to making her new family happy.
Virginia was blessed with 9 children, Rogelio Arellano, Luis Arellano, Elias Arellano, Jose Arellano, Magdalena Arellano, Demetria Arellano, Virginia Arellano, Mercedes Arellano, and Felipe Arellano. Her primary occupation was a homemaker. She was self employed, owned her own restaurant. Virginia always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Virginia enjoyed collecting scrapbook pictures. She was content to enjoy her favorite pastimes alone, but was also willing to share her interests with others.

She was a member of Saint Josephs Catholic Church for 30 yrs. During that time, she was Eucharistic Member, Curouistas members. Virginia was given accolades for her many and varied accomplishments throughout her life. Some of her most prestigious awards included Resurrection Merit Award Congradualations of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Virginia enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. Favorite vacations included Guadalayara, Culiacan, Manzanillo, and other cities in Mexico City.
When Virginia's retirement finally arrived in 1965, she was well prepared. Her new life involved relocating to Fontana, California. Even in retirement, Virginia continued to stay in touch with her old friends while making plenty of new acquaintances. Virginia was active in her new community and felt fulfilled with the opportunities retirement offered her.
Virginia fought a brave battle against Angina, Kidney Disease and Asthma. She is survived by spouse Luis Arellano, her children Rogelio, Jose, Elias, Magdalena, Demetria, Virginia, Mercedes, and Felipe. Services were held at ST. Joseph Catholic Church, Fontana, California Virginia was laid to rest in Green Acres Cemetery, Bloomington California
