He married Maranda J Tucker in Tennessee, May 1845. They had the following children who were elligible for minor's pensions.

William C, b. Feb 28 1861.
Maranda J Davis died April 5, 1914, at Luray, Tennessee. She lived with her Grandson, M L Davis, at the time, according to her pension papers.
His mother, Lucy Davis, also filed for pension (on card), but I did not find other information on that application.
